1929 Mercedes-Benz Gazelle Replica

1929 Mercedes-Benz Gazelle Replica

Engine: 2.3 inline 4 cylinder
Transmission: 4-Speed
Mileage: 6522 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 1929 Mercedes-Benz SSK Gazelle Replica. This Gazelle is finished in a unique gray over red color combination, and features black vinyl interior. Powering this 29’ Mercedes is a Ford 2.3L inline 4 cylinder engine. A 4-speed manual transmission transfers the power to the pavement. A Mustang II front end, including disc brakes, helps this Mercedes handle like a dream. Options for this 1929 Mercedes-Benz SSK Gazelle Replica include: AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Manual Convertible Top, Hub Caps, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche (the last car he designed for Mercedes Benz before founding his own company) and assembled in Bremen, German, the Mercedes Benz SSK was manufactured between 1928 and 1932. SSK is an abbreviation for Super Sport Kurz which is German for Super Sport Short, since it was the short wheelbase development for the earlier Mercedes Benz S. The SSK was a highly sought after car then for its extreme performance and plentiful competitive successes, and even more now due to the fact that fewer than 40 were built during its production run. Nearly half of those were sold as Rennwagen (racing cars), and were subsequently crashed and cannibalized for parts. Only 4 to 5 entirely original models are believed to remain, and one was sold at auction in September 2004 for a whopping $7.4 million. Although it has a smaller power plant as the original SSK, it does have the same classic styling cues and at a fraction of the cost. Put the top down, drive to a local show or for a long cruise on some old black top back roads. Either way you will be inundated with onlookers wanting know more about your classic ride. To view the 1929 Mercedes Benz SSK Gazelle Replica in greater detail including 80+ HD pictures and an HD video visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom. 1929 Ford Model A

1929 Ford Model A

Engine: 331 Hemi V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1500 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this 1929 Ford Model A “Rat Rod” for sale in our Indianapolis Showroom. “Rat Rod” is: a semi-restored Hot Rod that is intentionally left with the appearance of being incomplete. The Rat Rod is created of the thought of awaking a (pre-WW II) vehicle from the dead and embracing its natural form of deterioration, rust and all, while the Hot Rod is immaculately restored and customized for high performance. Rat Rods grow old gracefully while Hot Rods go under expensive cosmetic procedures to appear like new. Rat Rods are daily drivers better left unwashed, while Hot Rods only come out to play in shows and require the high maintenance of wax and polish. This Model A Rat Rod has made it way from Arizona to Indiana. The frame is 1929 Model A, it has been boxed in critical areas for extra strength. The roof of the cab is from a 1963 Chevrolet Corvair. The front grill is from a 1947 Studebaker Grill. The dual Stromberg carburetors are dressed out with a 1958 Cadillac air cleaner. The Strombergs feed a 1953 331 CID Chrysler Hemi V8. No fancy chrome here, just an old set of stamped steel Chrysler Hemi valve covers with just the right amount of patina. Zoomy style headers take care of the exhaust fumes, check out the super kewl flappers that have been added. The body has been dressed with just the right amount of patina that can only come from years of being in the Arizona climate. If you ready to hit a “Beatersville” event and fit right in call us before this rusto-rod fly’s out of here. Options for this 1929 Ford Model A “Rat Rod” include; No Radio with, Cloth/Steel Interior, Seat Belts and Steel Wheels wrapped in Bias Play Wide White Tires. 1927 Ford Roadster

1927 Ford Roadster

Engine: 250 CID Inline 6
Transmission: M21 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1588 ( undocumented )

This 1927 Ford Roadster is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom and with just over 1500 miles on the build it is sure to not last long. This 27 is a great looking car that has a ton of time and money spent on it. The builder decided he wanted something different when he started the project so instead of using your normal run of the mill SBC he opted for a great looking 250 CID straight 6. Since he planned on driving it the estimated 30+ MPG was an added bonus. Once he received his straight 6 motor he decided to outfit it with a set of Offenhauser heads that give this straight 6 an amazing amount of low end grunt. The icing on the cake of you will is the great looking tri carb set up. This set up not only looks amazing but is another way that this 27 stands out from the crowd. With the engine complete the next decision was what transmission? Sure you could go with the typical 3 speed automatic but that’s not really "different". Having that said the owner decided to put a 4 speed close ratio transmission in it. With the drive train intact figuring out how to stop it was the next step. A set of disk brakes was used in the front giving this 27 plenty of stopping power. Keeping everything rolling down the road are a set of Hoosier radials 235/75/15 on the back and 195/70/14 on the front give this roadster a great stance. Once the body was sprayed with a Matte Black finish the interior was the only thing left. The bench seat was covered in comfortable cloth and complimented with leather accents. To complete the interior with its out of the ordinary touch a 7 inch flip out CD/DVD was installed that completes the out of the ordinary theme. Features for this 1927 Ford Roadster include; AM/FM/CD/DVD, Radial Tires, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, and Raised Lettering . For more information on this 1927 Ford Roadster for sale, please call the Louisville showroom at (812) 294 – 1555 or email us at louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. 1928 Chevrolet AB National Sedan

1928 Chevrolet AB National Sedan

Engine: 171 CID 4 Cyl OHV
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 58049 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this piece of 20th Century history with this 1928 Chevrolet AB National Imperial Landau sedan for sale in our Arizona showroom. In 1928, Chevrolet had exceeded Ford in production numbers, and this classic yellow and brown two-toned sedan also features black fenders and a vinyl-like black top. A very striking color combination, to be sure. Inside, the original brown cloth upholstery looks and feels amazing for its near-century old age. This indicates the kind of care this Chevy has had throughout its life. This five passenger people mover four door was one of 54,998 built that year out of a total of over 785,000 of all models. Featuring a 171 cubic inch OHV four cylinder engine (the last year for this one) and a three speed manual transmission, this combo produced 35 HP and gave the car a top speed of almost 60 MPH. This Landau sedan was the top-of-the-line in 1928 Chevrolet closed cars, riding on a 107" wheelbase and costing $715 when it was new. Over the years, the caretakers of this well-preserved AB National have gotten it everything it's ever needed, including a brake upgrade to four wheel hydraulic disc brakes behind the beautifully restored wood-spoked wheels. Everything has recently been gone over by a professional restoration shop to ensure the car is as reliable as it can be for the new owner. Come see this beautiful example of a 1928 Chevrolet AB National Imperial four door sedan for sale right now in our Scottsdale showroom. 1919 Dodge Coupe

1919 Dodge Coupe

Engine:
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 23790 ( undocumented )

This vehicle is approaching 100 years old, and now for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom is an antique 1919 Dodge Coupe. This numbers-matching, highly-original beacon of American automotive history is more than just a car. It serves as a reference to where we came from, how far we’ve come, and where we have left to go. The body is decked in a beautiful blue paint job that would do the Dodge Brothers, who both passed away in 1920, incredibly proud; the wire wheels are coated in cream white, with black body accents all over, and wood highlights on the running boards. The vehicle pays homage to the founders of one of the greatest companies American motoring has ever seen. Driving this Dodge makes you feel like you’ve been catapulted back in time further than you thought a car could take you. The passenger seat was designed to sit further back than the driver’s, so that women’s dresses from the era would not interfere with shifting. In order to allow easier entrance into the vehicle, it was equipped with the “fat-man steering wheel” which adjusts up and down from the center of wheel, and then locks into place when it’s time to drive. Take this antique for a stroll through the neighborhood or down any back road and you will notice the amount of attention this car grabs. This beautiful antique Dodge is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1919 Dodge Coupe in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving, at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have questions, please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1929 Ford Coupe

1929 Ford Coupe

Engine: 383 Stroker
Transmission: 350 Automatic
Mileage: 25703 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this 1929 Ford Coupe. Do you want to be ordinary or extraordinary? If your answer is extraordinary, then you have chosen the right “Hot Rod.” When you think of a “Hot Rod” or “Muscle Car”, the first cars that come to mind are Camaro’s, Mustang’s, Cuda’s, etc. This is none of the above and yet, it’s still one super cool “Hot Rod.” It is a tie for first place when it comes to what catches your attention initially, but one thing is for certain and two things are for sure, your answer will either be the bright yellow paint, or the sound of the mean 383 stroker motor. Whichever one you choose, you won’t be wrong. The yellow paint is bright enough to make you feel like your looking at the sun, which is offset by a beautiful strategically placed flat back hood and black capped roof. The real show stopper of the exterior is the exposed chromed-out engine displaying chrome long tube headers. Just when you thought you thought you had the color combination figured out, another twist appears. Take a look inside and you will find burgundy bucket seats. Talk about extraordinary! Don’t worry about being squished in this coupe either, there’s plenty of room to fit four comfortably. Three’s company, four is a crowd, so load up your friends and family and enjoy cruising this “Sweet” ride. The 350 turbo automatic transmission will allow you to keep a hand free at all times to wave at the onlookers as they acknowledge your ‘29 Ford Coupe. Options include AM/FM Radio, Hub Caps, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. It’s nice to be part of the in-crowd, but it is even better when you are the cause of the crowd. 1929 Ford Model A Roadster

Engine: 4 Cylinder
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 52103 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is a Henry Ford steel 1929 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Roadster. This car not only incorporates the iconic design of the late 20's and early 30's but also has a blast-from-the-past rumble seat that is perfect for the little ones. By the late 1920's the Model T was becoming less competitive in the market with other manufacturers offering more modern conveniences at reasonable prices. The designers at Ford fought to get Henry Ford to produce something that was good looking and reliable, but also more sturdy and easier to drive and thus the Model A was born. This styling would later become one of the most iconic cars of the 1930's, and allowed families to travel longer distances with more comfort. Luckily, by the time the Model A came around, you could actually order it in any color you would like. This particular roadster comes in Dark Brown with Black fenders, which is paired perfectly with the dark Brown interior. The interior provides comfort you can expect from a nicely upholstered bench seat with a rumble seat that looks just as nice. If you are looking for a real steel Model A that retains a large part of its originality and great drivability, then this is the Model A for you. 1928 Dodge Coupe

1928 Dodge Coupe

Engine: 360 CID V8
Transmission: 727 Torqueflite Automatic
Mileage: 4205 ( undocumented )

Powered by a 360 Cubic inch Magnum V8 and upgraded drive train this Dodge is ready to tear up the streets! 1928 was the very first year that sliced bread was sold and Dodge was producing this coupe. Sliced bread may be the same back then as it is today, however this Dodge coupe has been heavily modified to bring it more up to speed with modern times. Distributing all of that power to the rear wheels is a 727 automatic transmission and a Dana 60 rear end. This beautiful old school hot rod features a very custom interior that incorporates diamond plating into the floor and a headliner with accent lighting to provide a very unique mood inside. Another modern touch are the digital gauges featured in the center surrounded by a vintage looking housing. The modern styling was carried over to the door handles where it has been updated with electric windows and modern aluminum handles. One aspect that remains true to its roots though, is the big wooden steering wheel that reminds you that you’re in a classic hot rod. This car is a blast to drive and has plenty of power for tearing up some roads. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1928 Dodge Coupe in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1923 Ford T-Bucket Rat Rod

1923 Ford T-Bucket Rat Rod

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 12832 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando of Orlando Florida is proud to present this classic Rat Rod. Mickey Rat is not like any other T-Bucket out there. This car was built and designed by Detroit Speedcraft and is a completely engineered vehicle system that performs (ride, drive, steering, braking, etc.) very similar to a regular car! This vehicle was hand-made using almost ALL new parts, (with the exception of the rebuilt 700R4 transmission, Rebuilt Chevy 10-bolt, S-10 4x4 Rear End and the 40' Ford front axle beam), and is tig (heli-arc) welded. Not many in the industry does that for any car, but Detroit Speedcraft. This particular car, the Fat Rat, was engineered for MAXIMUM interior space and handling. The chassis is a bit longer than a standard Detroit Speedcraft kit and the body is MUCH Larger! It is stretched 10 inches longer than a Henry Ford T, (49" vs 59"), and 5 1/2 inches wider (42" vs 47 1/2"). There is a "speed blister" on the driver's side AND the passenger side for MAXIMUM foot space and comfort. In this T-Bucket, you sit IN the car, not on top of the car and the steering column comes out of the firewall at a proper angle, so the car feels comfortable and natural to drive. The seats? Not boards and foam, but rather, 2010 Camaro buckets that were custom fabricated by Wise Guy's Seating out of Indianapolis, IN. They were stripped, narrowed 6 inches, re-padded and re-stitched in gray leather. And they are COMFORTABLE! The power train was a new GM crate motor that Detroit Speedcraft massaged with and Edelbrock Air-Gap manifold, a Holley carb and a Comp Cams Mid Thumper cam. The engine has a nice "lope" to it. It is a Chevrolet 700R4 with a reversed, manual valve body. It is like having a stick shift, without having a clutch. A roll bar was also added for additional safety. The car is in EXCELLENT condition! It also "rolls through" Bob Seger's music video for the song "Detroit Made"! With all the looks and speed, you could want and a full flash drive showing the professional build from start to finish, you can't go wrong with this one! This vehicle is titled as a 2010 ASVE. 1929 Ford Model A

1929 Ford Model A

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 350 Automatic
Mileage: 58338 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a unique 1929 Ford Model A 2 Door Sedan. The build for this 29' Model A was carefully planned and executed. There are several small nostalgic cues throughout the build including the Piper Cub brake pedal, Airstream trailer tail lights, and a Chevrolet heater box that was converted to a stereo enclosure and glove box. The roof of this Model A was chopped 3.5" inches and features a Mercedes Benz cloth top. The 1920's era Willys Overland headlamps up front have been converted to halogen, which provide ample light if you so choose to drive after the sun goes down. The passenger area of the floorboard has been coated with spray-on bed liner and provides a nice non-slide surface. The rest of the cabin is finished in a light yellow, almost cream color, for a classy, streamline look. The interior has a list of custom goodies including: a gauge cluster from a 56' Ford F100, Piper aircraft brake pedal, vintage Booneville gas pedal, and a hood ornament for a shifter. Powering this one of a kind Model A is a 350 CID SBC V8 engine with a small cam, HEI ignition, Mickey Thompson valve covers, 100 amp chrome alternator, an aluminum high rise intake, and a Holley 4 bbl carburetor. The air cleaner is super cool, it was fashioned out of an old Ford hub cap, and displays the V8 symbol proudly. The aluminum radiator with an electric fan has an old weed sprayer as an overflow tank! A 350 automatic transmission shifts the power to the 57' Chevrolet differential that houses 3.70 gears. The exterior is finished in a light green color and is accented by a black stripe that ties the black top in very nicely. Up front you will find an old illuminated hood ornament that helps tie the whole build together. The Model A frame has been fully boxed, and has a dropped front cross-member. The suspension setup consists of a 4 inch dropped and drilled front beam axle, a vintage style hairpin front and rear suspension, and adjustable coil-overs in the rear. Disc brakes in the front and drum in the rear provide plenty of stopping power for this little Ford. The odometer reads 58,338, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1929 Ford Model A 2 Door Sedan include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cloth Interior, Rally Wheels, Wide White Wall Radial Tires. This 29' Model A is very buzz worthy, it will have everyone at the show gawking and talking, and intrigued/amazed at the attention to detail of this build.
