Only 1,500 miles on a rebuilt 235 cid engine and a “three-on-the-tree” transmission in this classic Chevrolet pickup! Introduced in March of 1955, Chevrolet's new 'Task Force' series of trucks was quite a departure from their existing line of pickups. Smooth, rounded sheet-metal replaced the old pontoon-style fenders, and large, wrap-around windshield glass offered better visibility and gave a more contemporary look. The body on this truck is in great shape and would make an excellent weekend driver! The flame paint job looks hot but keeping the drive train cool is a new aluminum radiator. The inline six runs like a top and pairs nicely with the manual transmission. Driving a three speed on the tree is a unique driving experience that will surely bring you back to a different era. The interior has been refinished with gray cloth seats as well as headliner and custom door panels. Stock dash components and instruments look back at you when you are in the driver’s seat. The dash has not been modified and still retains it’s look for what fits this pickup. In the bed of the pickup you will find a refinished wood bed as well as a custom Chevy bowtie tailgate. A custom dual exhaust exits out through the rear bumper to finish off the personality of this old school pickup. This truck is a great mix of originality and custom touches and would be an excellent choice for someone in the market for a turnkey classic pickup! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1957 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. This former military vehicle is real piece of American history. Originally a US Army truck and also previously owned by the city of Fitzgerald Georgia as a municipal vehicle. For 1957, many visual changes were made: The former egg-crate grille was changed to a more open-mouthed design, with eight bars holding an open trapezoid in the center, and a pair of wind splits appeared on the hood. Dished steering wheel, safety door locks and strikers, and a more rigidly mounted rear axle (using threaded spring shackles instead of the center-draw-bolt type used previously) were among the other improvements. This 57’ Chevy has been through thorough restoration around 2013. The exterior of the truck is in great condition and shows very well in Army Green. The body is straight & true, the body panel gaps are even. The bumpers, trim & glass are also in great condition and really pull the look of the truck together sitting on those steel wheels. This truck is powered by a 235 CID Inline 6 Cylinder that mates with a 4 Speed Manual transmission. The exterior and interior shows very well. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this cool 1956 Chevrolet Delray. Most will say that the Tri-Five Chevrolet is as American as it gets. Brought into production for the launch of Chevrolet’s ground breaking new engine, the small block, no one had any idea the importance of these cars. The small block would live on for decades and is even still widely used today. This 56 has used a much more modern Small block as its power plant. Increasing displacement to 350 Cubic inches the engine can produce a lot lower end power without losing any of the top end punch that they’re known for. Decked out with chrome valve covers this small block looks as good as it sounds. With a nice lopey idle the cam lets everyone know that this isn’t just a run of the mill small block. With other chrome accents under the hood the engine bay has just enough shine to show it off but not so much that you won’t want to drive it. The 4 speed Muncie transmission controlled by the Hurst shifter makes driving this beauty a blast. The black paint is slick and shows off how nice the body is while the chrome breaks it up just enough. The inside is where this one off really comes into its own. The seats are covered in genuine leather not vinyl and boy does it make a difference. The black and cream go nicely together especially against the painted black interior. With additional touches of chrome throughout the interior compliments the exterior perfectly. If you have wanted an extremely cool car that is just a little different but not completely over the top look no further. Options on this 1956 Chevrolet Delray include; Power Steering, Tilt, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Engine: 350 CID V8Transmission: Muncie 4 Speed ManualMileage: 14636 ( undocumented )
This awesome 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1957 Chevy was the ending to one of the most successful designs in automotive history. Starting off in 1955 with the Shoe-Box the tri-fives were an instant success. The 57 however would be the most notable out of the 3 with its “just right fins” them the most sought after of the 3 years. This black example is what most are looking for in todays market. The paint is slick and clean showing just how straight the body of this beauty is. With the chrome shined up and accenting the black perfectly its easy to see why black is the most popular color of choice. The blue dot tail lights are a great look and something you would see back in the late 50’s and early 60’s. The wheels on the car give it that classic hotrod look with the modern radial tires helping with traction in all conditions. Under the hood a stout and strong running small block 350 sits nicely between the frame rails. The Muncie 4 speed shifts through the gears nicely with the clutch having a great feel with plenty of life left in it. The interior if the car is in great shape and shows nicely. The bench seat upfront is comfortable and what you would expect in a 57 Chevy. The 4-speed shifter sits in the perfect spot with your hand falling right on top of it. The updated stereo looks right at home in the dash while sounding good doing it. If you have been wanting a 57 that looks great and drives even nicer this is the Tri-Five for you. Engine: 235 Inline 6Transmission: 3 Speed ManualMileage: 339 ( since rebuilt )
For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is an early series 1 1955 Chevrolet Pick Up. This one has received an extremely detailed restoration and is probably better than new. It also benefits from an upgraded 12 volt system that also includes a 12 volt starter and electric windshield wiper replacing the old and unreliable vacuum operated wiper. Painted green with black running boards, wide white walls, driver’s side side mounted spare and an Oak bed paired with a beautiful Parchment interior. The interior is just as easy on the yes as is the rest of the truck. The gauges were restored and look new, the two tone bench seat looks great as do all of the knobs and cranks. You'll also notice seat belts and a heat controller for those chilly Autumn drives. During the restoration, all of the rubber seals and window fuzzies were replaced including the often overlooked vent window seals. Helping protect the exterior are clear rubber covers for the tailgate's chains and a rubber mat to protect the beautiful Oak bed with stainless inserts. Open the hood and the detail continues. All new wiring and proper detail. You can tell that the restorer took their time and focused on detail and accuracy. The Thrift Master 235 Inline 6 purrs like a kitten and the 3 speed column shift is easy to operate. Both are original to the truck, have been rebuilt during the restoration and have covered 336 miles since the rebuild. The undercarriage will not disappoint as it is also as detailed as the rest of this impressive 3100. The Series One represent the early 1955s that share the previous body style found on earlier Chevy Pick Ups. Mid year 1955 (Series 2) received the updated front end among other changes. The Series 1 seem to be the most sought after model considering they are the end of a long run of a successful generation of truck. For more information on this top notch restoration, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.

Models were further distinguished by the Bel Air name script in gold lettering later in the year. Engine: Supercharged V8Transmission: 4 Speed AutomaticMileage: 3500 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is honored to have this incredible 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air listed for sale. Modifying any Tri-Five Chevy is sure to upset some purists, but it's hard to find any faults with the work done to this beauty. Having undergone a complete frame-off restoration, the heart of this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is a supercharged 454 CID V8. This 1990 marine high-performance big block engine was line honed, decked and balanced, and it was extensively upgraded with J-E Pistons, Speed Pro Plasma-Moly Rings, Eagle Rods, Comp Cams Pure Energy Camshaft, Comp Cams Magnum Roller Rocker Arms, Crane Roller Lifters and an MSD ignition system including high torque starter, distributor, coil and cap. This engine mates to a TH400 Turbo 400 with Gear Vendor Under/Over drive, a TCI 2500 Stall Converter and a Hurst shifter. This power is sent to the rear wheel through a nine-inch Ford rear end that has been shortened by eight inches for the mini tubs, and overall performance and handling has been optimized with tubular steel A-arms, Hotchkiss dropped spindles and four-wheel disc brakes. And that's just the performance side of this car. The body is straight and was given a rich, custom black-over-burgundy paint job with beautiful chrome and 15-inch Center Line wheels. To maintain the stock look of this car, the blown big block is mounted 6.5 inches lower and moved back a full eight inches to accommodate the blower without requiring any changes to the hood. Even the inside received a custom touch replacing the standard '55 interior with a leather-wrapped cabin out of a 1967 Cadillac Eldorado. Options on this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air include air conditioning, AM/FM radio, cassette, power brakes, power steering, power seats, tilt steering wheel, seat belts, leather interior, aluminum alloy wheels and radial tires. Engine: 350 CID V8Transmission: Turbo 350Mileage: 13398 ( undocumented )
This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. GM would release one of the most iconic line of vehicles they would ever produce. The 1956 model would take the 55’s success and run with it. Minimal styling ques would freshen it up with the rear end beginning to show the evolution of the fins. This example is what many thinks of when you say 56 Bel Air. The black and white paint looks great while showing off those classic lines. The custom wheels are a great touch giving the 56 a modern look with a classic feel. Under the hood is an updated version of the now classic small block. This 350 is putting down quite a bit more power than the original while being quite a bit more durable as well. The 4-barrel carb feeds this small block just the right amount of fuel with the dual exhaust taking care of those spent exhaust gasses. The TH350 transmission handles the power perfectly shifting thru the gears without hitch. Open the door on this 56 and a stock looking interior is inviting to say the least. The big bench seat upfront is amazingly comfortable and what you would expect in a car like this. The custom steering wheel is a great finishing touch putting an exclamation point on this great build. AM/FM Radio, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Vinyl/Cloth Interior, and Custom Wheels with Radial Tires. To view this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
