1917 Ford Model T

1917 Ford Model T

Engine: 195CID I4
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 9092 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1917 Model T roadster. Model T buckets are let’s face it, a lot of fun, with wind in your hair and the sun on your face and possibly a bug in your teeth what could be more fun? These light, nimble little roadsters come with a variety of drivetrains. Some prefer the brute force of a Chevy big block and well, it is hard to argue with a Rat motor. Others like the small block Chevy, with their ability to snap from 800 rpms to 4,500 in the blink of an eye. Still another choice is a Small block Ford, I know, who would want a Ford engine in a Ford body!? But how about this choice? A 4 cylinder out of a Pontiac Tempest? A 195 Cubic inch 4 cylinder with rear automatic transaxle and independent suspension to be exact! I would just bet that this will be the only T bucket at your local show with this drivetrain. This 1917 T bucket for sale is dripping black paint and sporting brass accents it has a look that is both familiar but a little different. Riding a little lower than most model T buckets this little roadster looks like it would cut corners with the best of them. So, a sharp T bucket with a unique drivetrain that looks great and handles like a dream, what’s to like about that? Just everything! I’ll take one to go please. Options include Hub caps, Seat belts, Wire wheel Radial tire and a detachable top. A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. For more information on this 1917 T bucket for sale call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or send us an email nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com

1918 Oakland Roadster

1918 Oakland Roadster

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 1304 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is an all steel 1918 Oakland Roaster. This Oakland is finished in a beautiful Blue Metallic exterior paint that is matched wonderfully with blue vinyl upholstery and blue carpet in the cab. Powering this unique Oakland is a 400 CID Pontiac V8 engine with a 4 BBL Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum intake, polished aluminum valve covers, chrome Summit air cleaner, and chrome alternator. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan keeps this Pontiac V8 cool on hot summer nights while out cruising stop light to stop light. A 4-speed automatic transmission with a skull shift handle transfers the power to the 10-bolt Posi-Traction rear end. McCabe headers flow to Borla resonators that give you excellent performance and a nice exhaust note, unlike most annoyingly loud T-Bucket builds. The polished aluminum/alloy 15 inch American Racing Torquethrust wheels provide an great look and stance to the build. The odometer reads 1,304, but the actual mileage of the build is unknown. Options for this 1918 Oakland Roadster include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. If you are looking for a T-Bucket or roadster type build, but want something truly unique, this Oakland Roadster will fit the bill. 1919 Dodge Coupe

1919 Dodge Coupe

Engine:
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 23790 ( undocumented )

This vehicle is approaching 100 years old, and now for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom is an antique 1919 Dodge Coupe. This numbers-matching, highly-original beacon of American automotive history is more than just a car. It serves as a reference to where we came from, how far we’ve come, and where we have left to go. The body is decked in a beautiful blue paint job that would do the Dodge Brothers, who both passed away in 1920, incredibly proud; the wire wheels are coated in cream white, with black body accents all over, and wood highlights on the running boards. The vehicle pays homage to the founders of one of the greatest companies American motoring has ever seen. Driving this Dodge makes you feel like you’ve been catapulted back in time further than you thought a car could take you. The passenger seat was designed to sit further back than the driver’s, so that women’s dresses from the era would not interfere with shifting. In order to allow easier entrance into the vehicle, it was equipped with the “fat-man steering wheel” which adjusts up and down from the center of wheel, and then locks into place when it’s time to drive. Take this antique for a stroll through the neighborhood or down any back road and you will notice the amount of attention this car grabs. This beautiful antique Dodge is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1919 Dodge Coupe in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving, at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have questions, please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1921 Ford T-Bucket

1921 Ford T-Bucket

Engine: 383 CID V8
Transmission: TH-350
Mileage: 3631 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a freshly built bad to the bone 1921 Ford T-Bucket. If you want a lightweight high horsepower ride with tons of attitude, here it is. This T-Bucket comes freshly built with less than 500 miles on it! This one has the traditional open T-Bucket look with a small bed on the back. That's about the only basic thing about it. Up front is a brand new from BluePrint Engines 383 CID V8 which is quite the screamer. BluePrints is able to squeeze out 430 HP and 450 lb ft of torque. To dress it up, a Vintage Speed Tri-Power set up has been dropped on top. The air cleaners, valve covers, and plenty of other accessories have been done in chrome for some eye candy. That screaming 383 breathes through open 4 into 4 headers which announce your presence. Backing the V8 is a TH350 automatic transmission and a 10 bolt rear end. This one has been nicely built with 4 wheel disc brakes to bring it all to a stop. The T sits on Weld Racing wheels with some big fat Mickey Thompsons on the back, and matching smaller Mickeys up front. The body and frame are finished in black, but the engine and interior are red for a nice contrast. The interior is beautifully upholstered with enough room for the two brave enough souls to rip this bad boy around town. A tilt column helps with climbing aboard. You can see this freshly completed 1921 Ford T-Bucket in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact STL@gatewayclassiccars.com or 618-271-3000 with inquiries.

1923 Ford Roadster

1923 Ford Roadster

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Turbo 350
Mileage: 10 ( since rebuilt )

This 1923 Ford T-Bucket is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The T bucket was made out of necessity with the supply of Model T’s dwindling hot rodders had to do something. In 1957 their call was answered by Diablo Speed shop in Northern California. With only 3 built before closing the doors one was purchased by hotrod builder Buzz Pitzen. He completed the build and credited for the first fiberglass T bucket. This example has that classic look while the attention detail really sitting this build apart. The red paint is vibrant and slick with no pinstriping it can be left alone or used an open canvas, so your guy can do his thing. The frame was painted in the same red making the transition from the 2 almost seamless. The classic chromed front end came from speedway one of the most well-known brands in the business. The engine is a small block 350 with the tunnel ram which has a set of dual quads feeding this monster the fuel it needs. The B&M TH350 transmission easily handles the power from that small block shifting through the gears with no hesitation. Power is put to the ground courtesy of a Ford 9 inch turning those monster 33x22 tires that have been mounted on a 15” wheel giving it that true Hotrod look. The 4 link helps to keep the back wheels on the ground while giving this 23 T bucket a rather plush ride. If you have been wanting a T bucket that is fun to drive while having that classic look this is the bucket for you. Options on this 1923 Ford T bucket include Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, and a set of Racing Wheels with Radial Tires. This 1923 Ford T-Bucket can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

Transmission: Four Speed Automatic

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this nicely modified 1923 Ford T bucket for sale in our Arizona showroom. These simple to build, simple to maintain hot rods have been a mainstay in the street rodding community forever, it seems. Like this one, most are fiberglass bodies. 1923 Ford T-Bucket Rat Rod

1923 Ford T-Bucket Rat Rod

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 12832 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando of Orlando Florida is proud to present this classic Rat Rod. Mickey Rat is not like any other T-Bucket out there. This car was built and designed by Detroit Speedcraft and is a completely engineered vehicle system that performs (ride, drive, steering, braking, etc.) very similar to a regular car! This vehicle was hand-made using almost ALL new parts, (with the exception of the rebuilt 700R4 transmission, Rebuilt Chevy 10-bolt, S-10 4x4 Rear End and the 40' Ford front axle beam), and is tig (heli-arc) welded. Not many in the industry does that for any car, but Detroit Speedcraft. This particular car, the Fat Rat, was engineered for MAXIMUM interior space and handling. The chassis is a bit longer than a standard Detroit Speedcraft kit and the body is MUCH Larger! It is stretched 10 inches longer than a Henry Ford T, (49" vs 59"), and 5 1/2 inches wider (42" vs 47 1/2"). There is a "speed blister" on the driver's side AND the passenger side for MAXIMUM foot space and comfort. In this T-Bucket, you sit IN the car, not on top of the car and the steering column comes out of the firewall at a proper angle, so the car feels comfortable and natural to drive. The seats? Not boards and foam, but rather, 2010 Camaro buckets that were custom fabricated by Wise Guy's Seating out of Indianapolis, IN. They were stripped, narrowed 6 inches, re-padded and re-stitched in gray leather. And they are COMFORTABLE! The power train was a new GM crate motor that Detroit Speedcraft massaged with and Edelbrock Air-Gap manifold, a Holley carb and a Comp Cams Mid Thumper cam. The engine has a nice "lope" to it. It is a Chevrolet 700R4 with a reversed, manual valve body. It is like having a stick shift, without having a clutch. A roll bar was also added for additional safety. The car is in EXCELLENT condition! It also "rolls through" Bob Seger's music video for the song "Detroit Made"! With all the looks and speed, you could want and a full flash drive showing the professional build from start to finish, you can't go wrong with this one! This vehicle is titled as a 2010 ASVE. This Classic Rat Rod is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1925 Ford Model T

1925 Ford Model T

Engine: 177 CID I4
Transmission: 2-Speed Manual
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this extremely cool 1925 Ford Model T. Between the extensive powertrain work and original sheet metal, this car is a clean example of a Model T. Under the hood of this American icon is a 2.9-liter inline four cylinder engine that was good for roughly 20 horsepower when new. The engine was rebuilt roughly 75 miles ago and upgraded with a 12V distributor and battery to improve reliability and drivability. Although the car has been upgraded, the original coil box remains in the car. Sending what little power this car has to the rear wheels is a two speed manual transmission with a very unique shifting sequence. The transmission was also rebuilt with the engine. Moving inward, the interior of this car is barren with no modern amenities or luxuries. When this car was produced, it was meant to be a cheap means of transportation for the masses with little to no focus on comfort or styling. Although there are really no features to speak of, the condition of the interior on this T is very good. The exterior of this T is finsished in black to stay true to the only original color option. The paint is in good condition and highlights the cars curves and style. Laying beneath the paint is the original sheet metal from when the car was new almost 100 years ago. Overall the condition of this T is very nice and this would make an excellent weekend toy or parade car! For more information on this 1925 Ford Model T located in our Houston showroom, come by and see us or call the showroom at (832) 243-6220, or email the showroom at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com

An old school roadster with a ton of horsepower getting pushed out of a small block Chevy. What's not to love! The Ford Model T (colloquially known as the Tin Lizzie, Leaping Lena, or flivver) is an automobile that was produced by Ford Motor Company from October 1, 1908, to May 26, 1927. The Ford Model T was named the most influential car of the 20th century in the 1999 Car of the Century competition. The Model T was Ford's first automobile mass-produced on moving assembly lines with completely interchangeable parts, marketed to the middle class. Henry Ford said. “I will build a car for the great multitude. It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for. It will be constructed of the best materials, by the best men to be hired, after the simplest designs that modern engineering can devise. But it will be so low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one – and enjoy with his family the blessing of hours of pleasure in God's great open spaces.” This bright Chrome Yellow Ford Roadster acquired a new body in the mid ‘60s by Grant King. She was completely rebuilt in March of 2000. With stainless steel brake lines, new crossmembers, and the frame was also painted. This beautiful little roadster has a new purple top with a new cover. She is sporting a Chevy 355 motor with a 700R4 transmission, linked up to a Ford 8” rear end with 9” 350 posi gears. The motor has been polished and painted to match the rest of the cars color scheme. Just imagine putting the top down and going to drive in this Chrome Yellow Ford Roadster. 1927 Chevrolet Roadster

Engine: 4 Cyl
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 75128 ( undocumented )

This 1927 Chevrolet Capitol Cabriolet is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1927 was a pivotal year for the auto industry. Henry would bring out his Model A which was an evolution of the Model T. The Chevrolet capitol would be the first real competition for Ford making this a do or die move. Priced right inline with the Model A the Capitol would steal a pretty good piece of the market from ole Henry. This example has been restored to what you would expect to see back in the 20’s. The green paint looks good with the black accenting it perfectly. The rims are correct and with the tires being tall and skinny which was due to the roads not being paved. There is even a spare tire on the back just in case you don’t have AAA. Under the hood is the 4 cylinder that really brought Chevrolet into the main stream. The 171 CID inline 4 produced a little less than 30 HP. The 3 speed Manual Transmission shifts like it should making these cars a little challenging but extremely fun to drive. The top is in great condition but is most likely going to be used on a slim occasion. This car is made for those sunny days with the top a just in case thing. Kind of like that hand powered wiper, I don’t think I would want to be caught out with that thing. The bench seat is vinyl allowing for easy cleaning while being extra durable. Options on this 1927 Chevrolet Roadster include; Bias Ply Tires, Steel Wheels, Manual Convertible Top and Vinyl Interior. 1927 Ford Roadster

1927 Ford Roadster

Engine: 250 CID Inline 6
Transmission: M21 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1588 ( undocumented )

This 1927 Ford Roadster is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom and with just over 1500 miles on the build it is sure to not last long. This 27 is a great looking car that has a ton of time and money spent on it. The builder decided he wanted something different when he started the project so instead of using your normal run of the mill SBC he opted for a great looking 250 CID straight 6. Since he planned on driving it the estimated 30+ MPG was an added bonus. Once he received his straight 6 motor he decided to outfit it with a set of Offenhauser heads that give this straight 6 an amazing amount of low end grunt. The icing on the cake of you will is the great looking tri carb set up. This set up not only looks amazing but is another way that this 27 stands out from the crowd. With the engine complete the next decision was what transmission? Sure you could go with the typical 3 speed automatic but that’s not really "different". Having that said the owner decided to put a 4 speed close ratio transmission in it. With the drive train intact figuring out how to stop it was the next step. A set of disk brakes was used in the front giving this 27 plenty of stopping power. Keeping everything rolling down the road are a set of Hoosier radials 235/75/15 on the back and 195/70/14 on the front give this roadster a great stance. Once the body was sprayed with a Matte Black finish the interior was the only thing left. The bench seat was covered in comfortable cloth and complimented with leather accents. To complete the interior with its out of the ordinary touch a 7 inch flip out CD/DVD was installed that completes the out of the ordinary theme. Features for this 1927 Ford Roadster include; AM/FM/CD/DVD, Radial Tires, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, and Raised Lettering .
