BUYING FROM GATEWAY CLASSIC CARS VS AUCTIONS

Would you rather buy your dream car at a Classic Car Auction in a 3-minute frenzy with numbers being run up by real and pseudo buyers competing against you?

Or would you rather make that purchase thoughtfully and with due diligence, being well informed about the car and its value?

You know the answer.

Please, read the comparisons below and you will agree that buying from Gateway Classic Cars makes you a more informed and thoughtful Buyer, with time and numbers on your side.

  • We are currently offering over 1800 classic and exotic, cars and trucks for sale, everyday, far larger selection than any classic car auction
  • We accept trades. Auctions do not accept trades.
  • We will assist you in shipping your vehicle worldwide. Your car will stay secure in our indoor climate controlled showroom until transportation arrangements have been made.
  • We will assist with any Tax, Title, or Registration forms if needed.
  • Here is the best part, we don't charge you a Buyer's Premium or any other junk processing fees, that add several thousand $$ to your final cost.

AUCTIONS

  • Buying at an auction is a rushed 3-min ute frenzied affair with everyone going crazy to get more than the classic or exotic is worth. You dont get enough information to really know what you are buying. Is its truly authentic? Are the numbers matching? Is there a professional 3rd party inspection opportunity available? What about test drives? Can you get financing assitance? How about shipping help? The answer to all of these questions is: NO
  • At an auction, you are limited to the vehicles for sale for that event.
  • Auctions will not take your trade if you have one. We will.
  • At auctions, you are required to remove your vehicle immediately after the event. Transport companies charge a premium at these events.
  • Auction houses do not assist with tax, title or registration paperwork. In some states, special forms are need to be filed for classic vehicles. We can assist with those.
  • At auctions, you are expected to pay up to a 10% Buyer's Premium above the purchase price of the vehicle. Add this 10% processing fees, and other junk fees and you just overpaid for the vehicle.

After comparing side by side the pros and cons of Auctions, as a BUYER, you will realize that purchasing your dream car from Gateway Classic Cars is a far better option. We have a pleasant staff and excellent customer service. The experience will keep bringing you back to us.
