The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1968 Camaro for sale. The Camaro was GM's answer to the popular Ford Mustang which garnered significant attention and sales to the general public. This pony car was different from the competition in design, performance and even its name which supposedly was chosen after Chevrolet's marketing team wrote down more than 2,000 words beginning with "C" to keep the tradition going with its cars starting with the letter. While the true definition of the name was debated, Chevrolet countered with this, "“A Camaro is a small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs.” In respect to this statement, the car you are viewing is truly that and then some. Wearing deep black paint, this 1968 Camaro is everything one could want in a muscle car, looks and performance. Note the subtle differences of the 1968 model compared to that of the 1967 year including the elimination of side vent windows, side marker lights on the front and rear fenders as well as a more pointed front grille. Take a seat in the handsome red interior and wrap your hands around the steering wheel that provides an excellent view of the sporty instrument cluster. The front buckets and rear seats bring interior together perfectly. Note the seats' pear-like finish that glistens in the sunlight and admire the center console that holds the automatic transmission running through Boyd rims all the way around. This is a very clean engine bay that holds the 350 Chevy engine. Options include power steering, power brakes, seat belts, radial tires, alloy rims.
