For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a classic 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This T-Bird underwent a frame off restoration in 2003 in the great state of California. The Thunderbird Blue exterior paint shines very well, as does all the chrome trim and bumpers. As estimated 12,000 miles have been enjoyed in the car since the restoration was complete. Powering this classic T-Bird is the original 292 CID V8 engine that was rebuilt in 2003 at the time of the restoration, and has approximately 12,000 miles on it since being rebuilt. A 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive transfers the power to the stock rear end. A hard top and soft top are included with the sale of this Thunderbird. The new soft top is a white vinyl top, and the hard top is painted to match the rest of the Thunderbird Blue exterior. The Thunderbird blue and white interior was just redone, including door panels, carpet, and the vinyl upholstery. Options for this 1955 Ford Thunderbird include: AM Radio (inoperable), Manual Convertible Top (both hard and soft top), Hub Caps, Power Seats, Vinyl Interior, and Wide White Wall Radial Tires. The odometer reads, 12,020, and the actual mileage is believed to be 112,020, with the odometer having rolled over once. This Thunderbird is ready for any weather situation thrown at it. A beautiful sunny day with the top down of course, a soft top available for a pop up rain cloud, or a hardtop for the chilly season when you still want to enjoy your classic ride.
