Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia welcomes this 1955 Ford Crown Victoria. Take a walk around the car. The two-tone paint reflects the sun as it hits the Purple and the Pearl White gets a Purple Haze to it as it changes color right before your eyes. One thing you know right away is that this car has been crafted with an eye to detail. Any part of this car that isn’t part of the painted body is probably chromed or polished. The rolled and pleated custom interior includes a custom-built console, and is in excellent condition. The carpet and headliner are also pristine. The engine compartment was not left out when they put the finishing touches on this Crown Victoria. There is no shortage of chrome and polished aluminum on the 390 CI Ford V8 that brings this baby to life. The motor is connected to a 4-speed manual transmission. This is one of those cars that takes over the highway as it rumbles down the road. It looks like it weighs about 10 tons and with its lowered stance it is practically planted to the surface. This car makes a statement about everything that you love about the 50’s and cruising. It is truly a time capsule of the period.
