Now for sale in Houston showroom is one very cool all-metal 1940 Ford Sedan Deluxe. Covered in a Creme and Burgundy two-tone paint scheme, it looks like any other nicely-done 1940's sedan, but this one is not what it seems at first glance...but more on that later! Its exterior chrome is in good shape, and the interior chrome trim looks great! Open the hood, and you'll note that the engine bay sports a decidely non-'40s GM 350 CID V8, with a mild Comp Cams bumpstick, double hump heads, a Holley aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4BBL carb, and coated shorty headers. Power Steering and A/C are added benefits; along with a massive HD radiator with twin pull fans behind it and a big pusher fan at the front. Certainly this is one sleeper rod that will run long and cool. The 350 has less than 5000 miles on it since it was built, and it and the GM TH350 3-peed auto trans work seamlessly with the 3.08:1-equipped GM 12-bolt posi rear end to get this thing up to speed quickly. When you want to scrub off that speed, the front disk/rear drum brake combo work in tandem to haul things down quickly. When you come to a stop, you'll appreciate the menacing rumble that the custom dual exhaust with FlowMaster mufflers provide, and so will your audience at the cruise-ins you'll be frequenting in this stylish "old gal with the young heart"! Moving to the inside, you'll appreciate the craftsmanship that went into the restoration of the interior. Using modern materials, but keeping the vintage motif, the interior looks as though it could have been original, but it's obviously a modernized upgrade of the fabrics that it would have had. In keeping with the accent color of the exterior, the maroon synthetic leather-trimmed cloth seats and all carpeting coordinate nicely with the exterior. Occupants will appreciate the extra space in the back, and everyone will enjoy the air-conditioned comfort that this baby provides. The AM/FM/CD head unit provides your choice of audio. The driver will appreciate the addition of the Equus Pro Tach, and the 3 gauge cluster under the dash helps keep vital engine functions monitoring just a glance away. Additional options on this 1940 Ford Sedan Deluxe for sale include Air Conditioning, AM/FM/CD Radio, Hub Caps, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Synthetic Leather seating. Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars here in Houston is this beautiful 1940 Ford 2-door sedan. Powered by the legendary 350 CID V8 small block Chevrolet v8 engine mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. This awesome driving machine has only covered 2,000 miles since the build was completed. The exterior of the vehicle is done in a gorgeous, vibrant red with custom pinstriping. The cabin is a lovely place to sit and features excellently finished cloth and leather seats, AM/FM radio, seat belts and most importantly for those hot summer days, air conditioning. This one is easy to maneuver around tight parking lots and heavy traffic, thanks to its modern power brakes and power steering. The combination of all of these features and the fact that it came from California, really brings up the desirability level to 10. A high flat-topped hood dominated the front look of the 1940 model, as the grille spread out to reach the fenders to differentiate the Deluxe line and the headlights were pushed wider still. The standard Ford inherited the grille of the 1939 model with blackout on each side of a heavy chrome center; heavier headlight surrounds serve as another major differentiator from the 1939. 1940 was the last year of the 1937 design. Sealed-beam headlights were one of the few major advances for 1940, while a hydraulic top was new on the convertible. The 1937-1940 generation of Fords is one of the most popular automobiles for hot rodding. Early stock car racing drivers also used Fords of this generation among other cars. This Ford also formed the basis for a style of dirt track racing car. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Chicago showroom is a 1940 Ford Standard Coupe. This is a very cool hot rod! Power comes from a well built 1953 Mercury V8 Flathead that has been fitted with a 3/4 race Comp Cams camshaft, a decked set of cylinder heads for more compression, Brassworks radiator and a 12 volt electrical system. This car makes such a great sound! There's nothing like a well built high performance Flathead. Power is sent through a 3 speed manual mounted on the column. Both the engine and transmission have roughly 1,000 miles since the rebuild and offer issue free enjoyment. The engine was professionally built at Flatland Flatheads out of Oklahoma City. These guys know their stuff. This car will turn heads with the sound alone. Painted in an inconspicuous Clay with a tan interior and a set of period correct hubcaps. The front end has dropped front axle that offers a lowered ride height by a smidge and is fitted with confident inspiring front disc brakes. Adding to the great ride is a set of radial tires and some comfy leather seats. Inside you will also notice the restored gauges that have also been rewired for the 12 volt system. Surrounding the gauges is a beautiful machined turn gauge surround. Completing the 12 volt upgrade is an alternator in place of the old generator. There's no more worry about the car starting, the 12 volt system is a significant improvement over the old 6 volt system. For more information on this well built 1940 Ford Standard Coupe, call 708-444-4488 or swing by our Chicago showroom for an up close viewing. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this very unique 1940 Ford Super Deluxe Flower Car once again. If you're scratching your head thinking "I've never seen one of those before!" It's probably because you most likely have not. This 1940 Ford Deluxe was produced by the Ford Motor Company and then converted by The Eureka Manufacturing Company of Rock Falls Illinois into a flower car. Essentially starting out as a 5-window coupe, the conversion lengthened the chassis and the convertible rear casket compartment was created with metal rollers and pins to store the side rails that would hold flowers in place. This car had a dual use of being enclosed with the original canvas cover for the less elaborate funerals and having the rear compartment cover removed and side rails installed for a more elaborate send off. Flower cars were popular during the middle of the century and now are rarely seen in modern funerals. While most if not all of these conversions done by Eureka were on General Motors vehicles this one being a Ford and not a Packard or Cadillac makes this highly obscure and is believed to be the only one ever made. This car was purchased new in 1940 and check out the original photos of the car being delivered. Now fast forward 78 years and you will notice that not much has really changed. This is an original, unmolested, unrestored car that still retains the original paint, original canvas cover, original interior and powertrain. Now is your chance to own something that nobody else has and enter the world of Professional Car Collectors. Surely this will be the only one at whatever show you attend and thanks to years of maintenance and recent service work performed this car is ready for the road and will cruise at highway speeds. New parts include brake shoes, wheel and master cylinders, brake hoses, rear axle seals, new points set, fuel tank, fuel pump and carburetor overhaul. Located in our Chicago showroom, this 1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call (708) 444-4488 or email email@example.com.

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. Upon the birth of the Mustang in 1964, the American working class was finally offered an affordable entry into the world of hobbyist vehicles. Upon decoding the VIN and doorplate, we learn that this Mustang was birthed in the Dearborn, MI plant, before being DSO’d to Lansing, MI. The car has undergone a loving restoration in the past, but has managed to retain its originality in terms of powerplant, Rangoon Red exterior, and interior color. This Pony is a “C-Code car”, meaning that she was optioned with a 289 CID 2V V8 with a matching C4 automatic from the factory, as well as a power top, power steering, and power brakes, making this Mustang extremely approachable in terms of ownership. All too often, these pony cars were sent out the door with a 170 or 200 CID inline 6 cylinder. This C-Code Stang, however, supplies the driver with steadfast confidence in the car’s ability to move comfortably up steep inclines with minimal throttle. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is ecstatic to offer this 1934 Ford 3-window Coupe. No expense was spared in the production of this modernized, builder-owned hot rod. Lovingly assembled and maintained, every receipt for this 3-window build was saved and documented during the process, guaranteeing the car’s value for years to come. This ’34 is rocking a powdercoated Pete & Jake’s chassis, pinched in the front, and bobbed in the rear to give this custom a truly sinister stance. A Redneck Street Rods ’34 fiberglass body sits upon the frame with a professional 5” channeling and a 2 5/8” chop. Redneck produces the finest bodies in the street rodding business, and is the go-to body for builders across the globe due to its superior manufacturing. The coupe is finished in DuPont Black Pearl with several coats of DuPont clear. Upon further inspection, you will find a very subtle Blue Pearl, Orange Pearl and Red Pearl ghost flame striking down the front of the hood. In respect to drivability, the coupe has been outfitted with Aldan coilovers on all four corners, Wilwood brakes, and a Currie Ford 9” rear end. The powerplant is hosted by a SBC 350 Edelbrock crate motor pushing 450hp to the crank, paired to a 4L60E Bowler transmission with a Lokar floor shifter and Inland Empire polished aluminum driveshaft. The customization continues with staggered 18” and 20” Colorado Customs wheels, Colorado Customs steering wheel, Classic gauges, pushbutton start, custom stereo/CD player, fully customized leather interior, and Vintage Air air conditioning. This is a spectacular build that will make you the center of attention at every car show and stop light.
