Gateway Classic Cars is excited to present this stunning 1987 Rolls-Royce CCorniche II to its Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! This is not just any car, it is a chariot of luxury that welcomes you with open arms and desires to transport you comfortably, efficiently and in style. The Corniche was presented by Rolls-Royce in 1971 and saw a span of nearly 25 years of production. The word “Corniche” is derived from the French term for a coastal road and it fittingly belongs to this fine vehicle; can’t you see yourself driving alongside the sun kissed coast in south France? The Corniche II debuted in 1986 for American markets and represented the best of European style and performance when it came to luxury cars. This Corniche II went through a comprehensive restoration in 2004 that included a new power top and a crisp new tan saddle leather interior. Bask in these seats and know that you and your passengers will be in exquisite comfort. Wrap your hands around the wood steering wheel with a leather horn button. Take note of the beautiful wooden panel situation beneath the leather dashboard. The tasteful balance of wood and leather and be found throughout the lovely interior. All instruments were restored to full operating function including a temperature gauge, trip log, clock and a 140 mph speedometer. Two fully stocked mini bars can be cleverly found behind two panels on both doors. A set of shot glasses and polished flask are hidden behind these panels. A completely new sound system was installed during the restoration including an Alpine® CD/DVD player that pops out once the key is turned!
Powering this automotive masterpiece is a 6.75L V8 engine that looks as good as the car itself! Both the trunk and engine bay are spotless and convey that the owner has taken extremely good care of this classic. Paired well with the reflective custom Rolls-Royce wheels is a slick custom dark blue paint with silver metal flake. The flawless finish was accomplished thanks to a complete walnut shell blasting removed the existing paint down the aluminum. When the sun hits this car, it glistens and traces of the silver flake can be easily noticed. It truly is an impressive work of art and it is ready for its next adventure. If you are looking for a complete luxury vehicle, look no further. This Corniche II boasts the very best of English elegance and a proud history of dependable performance. Additional features include Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows and built in Radar Detector.
