1973 Chevrolet Camaro LSX

1973 Chevrolet Camaro LSX

Engine: 6.0L Fuel Injected LS2 V8
Transmission: Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1,260 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is this knockout restomod 1973 Chevrolet Camaro. A little over 3 years ago, this car was pulled from a barn and became the subject of a full frame off restoration and modification, with a major emphasis on the modification. The most obvious modifications are the custom wide body kit that allows this 2nd Gen Camaro to tuck 335 cross section tires out back, and 315s up front wrapped around custom E/T wheels. Of course, big sticky tires are only as good as the suspension holding everything else in place. That is why there is Detroit Speed suspension in the front and back to hold everything else in place. To handle bringing things to a quick halt, we have a full Willwood brake system, including 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brake calipers. You are going to need those brakes too, as this car’s real party trick lies under the carbon fiber hood. There you will find a fire spitting 6.0L LS motor that has been stroked with new rods and pistons, dart heads, and dyno tuned to make 427hp and 427 lb-ft. of torque. Those massive tires are starting to make some more sense. Backing up that fuel injected beast is a Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed manual, spinning 390 Truetrac gears in a Ford 9” rear end. Inside, you could call this car a mullet, as it is all business in the front, with the party coming from two 10” kicker subwoofers in a custom enclosure that has replaced the rear seat. Upfront is all business, with Cipher race bucket seats and 4 point harnesses, as well as a half cage painted to match. Other great little touches include a carbon fiber spoiler and trunk lid, kindigit door handles, A/C, power steering, and keyless ignition. Get yourself in this Camaro and go! 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LTZ

1973 Chevrolet Camaro LTZ

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 5,000 ( since rebuilt )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Louisville showroom is an awesome 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LT Z28. Most will agree that the '73 is the last of the greats for the Camaro as 1974 would see body changes and drops in horsepower. This beauty is painted in a great shade of Dark Green and has the matching green vinyl interior. The Green is the original color but was freshened up about 10 years ago with a Base coat/Clear coat system. Power comes from the original 350 small block that sends power to the original 4-speed manual transmission (as claimed by the owner) and back to a rear end housing 3.73 gears. The 350 has around 5000 miles on it since a professional rebuild was performed approximately 5 years ago. It sure looks solid and is ready for someone to take it to the next level or enjoy it as is and still be a very proud owner. The odometer shows 03300 and this Camaro is believed to be actual at 103300. It is marked as unknown mileage due to no supporting paperwork, however we can't imagine that this one has much than that. It is just too solid for that and wouldn't look nearly as nice as it does today. Options for this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LT Z28 include; AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Factory Steel mag Wheels wrapped in raised White Letter Radial tires. For more information on this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LT Z28 for sale, please call the Indianapolis showroom at (812) 294 – 1555 or email us at indianapolis@GatewayClassicCars.com. To see more of it, go to our website: www.GatewayClassicCars.com, where you'll see HD photos and an HD video of it in operation. Alternatively, if you want to see it in person, come to our Louisville Showroom, located at 13567 Blue Lick Rd Memphis IN 47143.

1973 Chevrolet Camaro

1973 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 350 Turbo
Mileage: 56,009 ( undocumented )

This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The second generation of GM’s Pony car was released in the spring of 1970 as a 70 Model. They were an instant hit with the public due to their great fastback styling and the endless list of options. They were not highly sought-after cars in the collector car market until recently. Now they have almost a cult like following with the 70-73 models being the most desirable. This example has had quite a bit of work done in order to bring it to its current condition. Receipts show that the build began back in late 2007 with the majority of the work being completed in the next 2 years. We will start with the body of this beauty which appears to have had both front fenders replaced. With the fitment of the doors and hood being well with in 73 standards the car was then painted. The dark blue is very similar to the iconic Admiral blue which shows off the lines of the Camaro nicely. The white racing stripes going over the hood and trunk lid add to the stock look and compliment the Blue nicely. Sealed in with a couple coats of clear the paint not only looks great but has that added layer of protection. The interior of the car has been taken back to its former glory with the black vinyl buckets upfront being classic 70’s Camaro. The B&M Ratchet style shifter is a nice touch, but I prefer just simply dropping it down in D but is nice to have the option. Under the hood is a very healthy small block 350 giving the car plenty of power. Consisting of your typical go-fast parts such as the huge 4-barrel Edelbrock Carb and matching intake this thing is classic muscle at its best. The TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with a mash of the gas second gear comes rather quickly with a firm shift. The 10-bolt rear end handles the power getting pout down to the pavement with out any worries. The 4-wheel disc brakes get this second-generation Camaro slowed down in a hurry. If you have been looking for a split bumper that is fun to drive, gets everyone’s attention, and don’t cost an arm and a leg this Blue beauty is the one. Options on this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro include; AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or Email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

A 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter and Centerforce dual disc clutch, transfer those horses to the 9" Ford NASCAR Detroit Locker rear end with 3.89 gears. This Camaro is finished in dark red exterior paint with a light metallic flake that has been professionally sprayed and looks excellent. 1972 Chevrolet Camaro

1972 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 496 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 3,451 ( since rebuilt )

This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 2nd generation Camaro was a huge success for GM running a total of 11 years. The fastback body design with its huge rear glass was a far cry from the 1ST Generation. This beautiful Silver with Black stripes split bumper actually began life as a SS396 which is super cool. The 396 has been replaced with a monster 496 that was built with one thing in mind, going fast in a straight line! The Brodix heads are made out of aluminum with many saying they are the best in the business. The huge aluminum radiator keeps everything at the perfect operating temperature with dual electric fans giving you that extra vote of confidence. The 1050 CFM Quick Fuel Dominator carb feeds this animal the high-octane gas it needs. If that’s not enough power for you hit the button on the fogger system and hold on for dear life. The TH350 Transmission was built to handle all that power with a trans brake allowing for true off the line hole shots. The Moser 10 bolt rear end has 3.89 Moser axles allowing for off the line acceleration while pulling hard through all 3 gears. With all that power propelling this beauty the brakes need to be just as good. The 4-wheel disc set up with its Wilwood master cylinder is exactly what this thing needed. Of course, going fast is fun but why not look good while doing it? The paint on the car is slick with a great shine while that fiberglass cowl hood ties in perfectly to the build. The RS front clip looks great but there is no way to tell if it came from the factory or not. Open the doors and you will see an interior that is very tasteful. The roll cage was done to keep you safe while still allowing for plenty of room. The front buckets are comfortable and look right at home with the racing harnesses keeping you right where you need to be. The ratchet style shifter is just where you want it allowing for quick shifts with a simple slap. Normally when cars like this are built you get either a car that looks great but lacks in the performance department or vice versa. Why not get this one and have a beautiful car that performs like it looks? Options on this 1972 Camaro include, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Billet Wheels with Radial Tires. Located in our Louisville Showroom, this 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1960 Chevrolet Impala

1960 Chevrolet Impala

Engine: 283 CID V8
Transmission: 2-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 18,176 ( actual )

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet Impala! This is no ordinary Impala. This is a true survivor car. The 283 CID V8 engine is the original that was put in the car in the factory when it was being put together. Covering only 18,176 miles since it first drove off the showroom floor all those years ago. Amazingly, the paint on this car has the original undercoat on it! Even the original AM radio in the car works as it should. This is part of a two-model-year run for the second generation of the much-loved Impala. The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolet's wheelbase was 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large "teardrop" design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, The Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window. Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was "Speed minder", for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded. The 1960 Impala models reinstated three round taillights on each side, and a white band running along the rear fenders. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com.
