The Buick Electra was a full-size luxury line built between 1959 and 1990. The President of the Buick Division at the time, Harlow Curtice, named the car after his sister-in-law, Electra Waggoner Biggs. Like other GM brands, the C-body line was completely restyled in 1971. These massive vehicles featured all the comforts and power available in the day when the price per gallon at the gas pump was irrelevant. Under the hood of this 1973 Buick Electra Limited breaths a 455 cid V8 rated at 315 gross hp (250 net installed to the drivetrain) mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The new power rating system started in 1972. This Blue/Blue survivor is a numbers-matching and the owner reports only 41,069 actual miles. Features include AC, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats and AM/FM stereo. Recent upgrades include a new fuel tank, brakes and AC components. This classic Buick is located at our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
