This beautiful 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. This 1979 Pontiac Trans Am is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Bringing back fond childhood memories of one of my favorite movies, Smokey & the Bandit, is the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. This Trans Am from the ‘70’s, that has been properly maintained, with only items needing to rebuilt or replaced being attended to and it just has 91211 miles on the odometer, though we cannot verify this to be actual, this TA doesn’t look to any hard miles put on it. The Oldsmobile 403 that many of these T/A’s had, is the original engine, and still runs strong. The TH400 3-speed automatic transmission backs up the 403 to insure performance and reliability. The rear end is a factory posi-trac unit. This is an original factory AC car and the interior looks great and looks to be original as well. This Bandit Trans Am rides on an original set factory honeycomb wheels that have been wrapped in raised white letter radial tires. Just in case you don’t remember the Bandit, here is a quick refresher! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnRwQjTYfGI Options for this 1979 Pontiac firebird Trans Am include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Locks, Seat Belts, T-tops, Vinyl Interior, Tilt Steering Wheels and factory Honey Comb wheels wrapped in raised white letter radial tires.
