This 1939 Chevy Master 85 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Master 85 was the entry level car in Chevrolets line up. They were stripped down cars but had all the character and charm of cars twice their price. With its huge slanting nose and rounded fenders, the car has eye appeal for days. This brown period correct example is a great running car that is guaranteed to bring back fond memories. The paint is in great condition and shows no signs of significant wear. With all the bright work in very good condition the exterior of the car is surprisingly clean. Under the hood is the 85 HP inline 6 that came in every Chevy that left the factory that year. Its typical grunty straight 6 power gets this 39 down the road just fine and is actually a very comfortable vehicle to tool around in. The 3-speed transmission is a joy to drive as it shifts without any difficulty. The Wide White Wall tires combined with those big classic hub caps finish off the overall appearance. Inside the light brown cloth is what you would expect in this classic. With the dash being exactly the way it should this restored piece of automobile history is something you will cherish for years to come. If you have been looking for a good solid and extremely fun car to drive around and not spend an arm and a leg this would fit the bill. This good example of a 1939 Chevy Master 85 has white wall tires, cloth interior, Hub Caps, Bias Ply Tires and a three-speed trans.
