This 1972 Chevrolet El Camino is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The El Camino in 72 marked the last year of that 3rd generation body style. Many will consider this the last of the desirable years for the ELCO. This 72 is what many say the SS series should have been all along. Sleek low and fast all of the things a sports car should be but with a truck bed in the back. This one off custom build has no expenses spared in the extensive and well thought out build. Taken completely apart and down to bare metal this is a textbook build at its finest. The ridiculous autumn red metallic paint looks like it was baked on its so slick. With the matching smooth bed topper the overall look of the truck is one of a kind. Using all Hotchkis underneath including sway bars, lowering springs, and boxed control arms this ELCO handles like a Vette. The powered front disc brings this beauty to a stop like no other ELCO I have seen. Those are going to come in handy with the potent and powerful built small block that lies under the custom hood. Built with power in mind the aluminum intake and heads were matched to the perfect cam gives this small block big block power. With the full length headers going into a flowmaster exhaust this Elco sound as good as it looks. Matched up to an ultra reliable 700R4 OD transmission this is one truck that is ready to cruise down the highway. The black vinyl interior is in excellent condition with no signs of wear it is as clean as the rest of the car. With options on the inside including, AC, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Power Brake, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires this is one comfortable street machine. With the possibilities of how to use this beauty having no end in sight I cant imagine it lasting very long. This 1972 Chevrolet El Camino can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information call the showroom at (812) 294 1555 or email email@example.com.
