This model is said to have only had roughly 350 made in production. 1962 was the year the Impala took a stand and became one of the most iconic & desirable models in history of the car. This was also the same year The Beverly Hillbillies was first aired. The Anniversary Gold paint that surrounds this car is in excellent condition and was redone approximately 3 years ago by professional shop. The exterior badging and chrome accents are in very great condition. The trim, glass, bumpers, emblems, & all other exterior components are in excellent like new condition.
Under the hood of this sleek beast you will find a powerful 409 CID V8, which was rebuilt by HP Racing in Magnolia, TX. Taking this power to the streets is a Borg-Warner 4-Speed Manual Transmission with 3.56 gears in a Posi Trac Rear End. The wheels remain clean and classical with like new tires to mask the raw power underneath the hood.
Moving to the interior you will find it has been kept in great original condition and it is said that these color seats are no longer obtainable in the market. If you’re looking for a nice classic to take you back to how they were made in 1962 then this is it. Keeping the original appearance makes this truly a rare find. The dash, and gauge cluster is all original and in working condition. Moving towards the back you will find a spacious and clean trunk to fit your beach towels and enjoy a nice cruise along the coast.
