There are plenty of receipts of the work done including the overhaul of the original numbers matching 289 CID V8 R1 engine 2500 miles ago. That small block V8 is backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission that makes driving this Hawk a blast. The paint was done in 2007 and has been cared for and withstood the test of time. The new life given to this car makes it a great driver with the uniqueness that Studebaker is known for. With only about 4500 of these cars being built you can’t go wrong if you are looking for a rare and unique collectable car.
