For sale in our Denver showroom is a 1974 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am being offered by the brother of the original owner! The year was 1974; the Post-It Note was invented, Richard Nixon was President and the average home cost 10,990 dollars while this Firebird was rolling off the assembly line in Norwood Ohio. This classic Pontiac drives great with a 455 CID V8 engine under the hood. Backing the high-performance engine, which was rebuilt just 12 years ago, is an automatic transmission. Well optioned, the Firebird comes complete with the original window sticker! Options include: Soft Ray Glass, A/C (not operable), Visor Vanity Mirror, Front Seat Console, 4BBL 455 V8 Engine, Stereo 8 Tape Player, Hood Decal, and much more. The total amount in 1974 came to $5,528.75 with extras being $969.00 of that amount. The exterior is painted in Admiralty Blue which also took place 12 years prior, while the interior is set nicely in white vinyl. The color combination surely is a great find. This Pontiac comes with many extra ticket items. The 1974 Firebird is a second-generation Firebird. The 1974 models featured a redesigned "shovel-nose" front end and new wide "slotted" taillights. The styling screams 70s horsepower. If you are out to find a good way to invest your money but also have fun with your investment, this might be for you.
