This stunning Porsche has been well cared for and runs as well as it did the day it rolled off the showroom floor! It’s 1995, 51 Pegasi discovered as the first major star, apart from the Sun, to have a planet orbiting around it, Michael Jordan returns to the NBA, ending his retirement. And this beautiful Gaurds Red Porsche 911 Carrera rolls into showrooms for the first time. The 911 traces its roots to sketches drawn by Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche in 1959. The Porsche 911 was developed as a more powerful, larger, more comfortable replacement for the Porsche 356, the company's first model. The new car made its public debut at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show (German: Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung). The car was developed with the proof-of-concept twin-fan Type 745 engine, but the car presented at the auto show had a non-operational mockup of the single-fan 901 engine, receiving a working one in February 1964.

993 is the company's internal name for the version of the Porsche 911 model manufactured and sold between late 1993 and early 1998 (model years 1995-1998 in the United States), replacing the 964. Its discontinuation marked the end of air-cooled Porsches, with the 993 being the last air-cooled 911. The 993 generation of the 911 is often referred to as the best and most desirable of the 911 series, not only because of its beauty, but also because its performance is very good, even by modern standards, and the 993 was "the last complete 'modern classic'"; "the 993 was and forever will be that last fresh breath of air that Porsche gave the world; elegance and muscle all in one package." The book "Porsche 993 - Essential Companion" refers to the 993 as the "King of Porsche," and it is generally acknowledged as "The purists' Holy Grail."
